What is the purpose of a torque mount?
The torque mount is fairly important. It keeps everything in place when the engine is trying to torque over from either a launch or a stop. While this one isn't completely shot, it needs to be replaced before that happens, so as to not cause issues in other areas of the vehicle.
How long do torque mounts last?
Usually, engine mounts should last between at least 5-7 years, depending on the application. Still, we recommend getting them checked regularly when the vehicle is being serviced or when any other work is being carried out.
